Private Party

This breath taking venue is ideal for a unique private party. The Hanbury Club, can be hired at very affordable rates for daytime and afternoon or evening functions.

This beautiful venue has a capacity of 150 standing or up to 80 seated and has a fully equipped kitchen which and can provide canapés, buffet or a full sit down meal if required.

With a room as beautiful as this there is no need to do anything to the venue but turn up and enjoy the surroundings however if you do want to add your own personal touch we are able to arrange what ever you desire. The Hanbury Club has a top cocktail bar, a stage with full lighting, a sound desk, monitors, dj decks, a yamaha upright piano. As well as a large pull down screen and projector.

We can provide you with a list of extras if you require them including prices for DJ's, live bands, solo singers, jive dancers, ballroom dancers, impersonators, magicians, karaoke, burlesque performers, stilt walkers, acrobats and many more and if its not on list we will find it for you!

“The Grade 11-listed building originally built in the 19th Century as a mausoleum for the Sassoon family has been called a ‘jewel in the Kemp Town’s crown’. Its central feature a magnificent glass dome has been cleaned and gleams so you can now actually make out the voluptuous painted figures which adorn it.

In the ballroom luxurious black suede banquettes and smart pinstriped wallpaper, softened with art deco floral accents, are complemented by voluminous lampshades, decorative mirrors and an extravagant bar, glittering with bottles of premium spirits and ten different champagnes, from Cava to Krug.

There is lager on tap, bottled beers and bitter too, and accessible, brassiere-style bar food – such as fisherman’s pie, sushi or a club sandwich all available until midnight – all Blanch House standards but not quite as formal.
